Enjoy the images below from my job with KISSM, which is an incredible part of Kamloops’ music scene. From their website: ‘Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music is a community-based program that inspires children and youth to pursue their interest and passion in music, theatre and the arts. With its flagship 3-week summer program and additional programs and music partnerships offered and managed year-round, Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music – known to many as KISSM – has been in the community for almost 40 years.
This shoot was an absolute blast to experience, great kids in a classroom environment for the first shoot and then an incredible performance at the Sagebrush Theatre. I didn’t really know what to expect in either situation but was totally impressed by the talent level of the kids and the commitment from the instructors; truly a pleasure to see. Special thanks to Kim Mangan, the Executive Director who left the creative ball in my court and was so easy to work with!
