- Kelly Funk is a Kamloops-based Photographer.
From very early on Kamloops photographer Kelly Funk has utilized the environment, both natural and urban to accentuate the strengths of his professional photography career, forming a unique, fresh perspective and high-end product.
One of Kelly’s primary strengths in his work is his ability to diversify. With experience ranging from national and provincial commercial clients, advertising and tourism agencies, special projects for charitable organizations and stock work, his technique is transferred from one application to another with an ‘out of the box’ approach that clients are drawn to. Great care and attention are paid to those clients to create the best possible result, by listening intently to their vision and working as a team to bring those visions to life. He doesn’t believe in hype, instead he lets his work speak for itself.
A lifelong resident of BC, Kelly’s images have garnered him with National awards and praise from his clients. His commercial client list is extensive and includes the likes of: Agriculture Canada, Destination BC, Sunshine Coast tourism, Thompson Rivers University, Jasper Fairmont, Honda Canada, Canadian Tourism commission, CIBC, Nikon Canada and a host of others.
For the last fourteen years Kelly has lived in Kamloops, BC and has been lucky enough to narrow his professional photography areas to: Commercial, which promotes businesses and corporations, both large and small regionally and nationally; Canadian tourism, which allows him extensive travel throughout the western part of Canada; stock work, which sees him supply imagery to the entire world, showcasing our beautiful country and being the Photo Editor and columnist to ‘Outdoor Photography Canada Magazine’.
Understanding that one person cannot stand alone, Kelly has taken pride in associating himself with top professionals in the industry, in such capacities as: Producers, Graphic Designers, Publishers, Editors and Printers. With strong industry associates and Kelly’s relentless passion for photography, a high quality end product will always be priority one.
