The end is near for ’16.  Some will be saddened and some will be ecstatic to see the calendar change.  For me it was an absolute mixture of every emotion under the sun.  My work (and play) was once again so good to me and it always provides me with vivid memories and smiles as I remember the variety of clients and jobs, the friends I share it with, unimaginable nuances of people and environments and appreciation for everything we experience, good and bad.  I was also able to see places I had never been to before and I have to say, that’s one of the best parts of my ‘job’ 🙂

The following images are what I feel are my favorites, due to many things I may have experienced during an assignment, people I was with or met and of course the way I feel about the images.  I classify myself as a commercial and tourism photographer, but the reality of it is I’m a general photographer, in that I photograph pretty much everything except weddings, families and babies. Let me say though that I’ve shot over 220 weddings and the experience I gained was immeasurable!  Luckily though now I can photograph what I feel passionate about and what you see here is a mixture of special projects, assignments and stock imagery.  I love my city of Kamloops and I was fortunate enough to represent the city and area in quite a few images you see here.  I’ve broken down the selections into categories of:  Landscapes, Kamloops and people.  I can’t thank my supporters and clients enough, because without you I wouldn’t be able to do what I love so much, so thank you and I hope 2017 starts and finishes the same way, stellar!!
